- Ticks are out, and although we do a quick check after walks and exercise, we cannot catch everything. Please discuss flea & tick preventatives with your veterinarian.
- Holidays and Summers are our busy time and when we are booked solid, we have very little extra room and feeding can be hectic. We want to make sure every dog gets exactly what you pack for him and without delays. Please bag up all your dog’s meals in meal size portions, and do not bring over sized containers. We do not have enough room to store bulk items. Just like the airline carry on policy, if it doesn’t fit in the bin (ie on our shelf), we won’t take it. Cats do not have to have individually bagged meals, but no large food containers, please. PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING.
- If your dog gets stressed in unfamiliar settings, please talk to your vet about metronidazole for diarrhea and an anti-anxiety medication for stress. We will only give it if needed, but we can’t help your dog if prescription medications are not provided. We want your dogs to be safe, happy and healthy when they’re here, and not need a trip to the veterinarian.
- Everyone seems to be doing well using our client portal. Like all computer programs, there are some limitations. One issue we see frequently is updating times. Our system needs to pick a specific time for drop-off and pick-up, it cannot do a range. We default to 8am and 6pm drop-off and 7am and 5 pm pick-up. As long as you are between the times slots of 7-9am and 5-6pm, you do not need to change the time shown on the computer…we do not make specific appointments for this. For example, there is no reason to change a drop-off time from 8am to 8:45am. The only time you need to request a change to a time is if you change from morning to evening, or vice versa. If you have any questions on this or other portal issues, please give us a call or email.
Thank you very much for your continued support to Canine Campus.
